HERO Lookback Book
Toward learning through the preservation and reflection on recent Houston social justice history and failure of the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance on its first anniversary.
A little over a year ago, Houston voters removed discrimination protections for over 2 million residents, and nearly 15 million annual visitors. Today we are inviting you to help us document what we learned as Houstonians, how we’ve changed, and what the future of our city looks like for the people who stand the benefit from anti-discrimination policy.
Documenting this moment is important to us and the work we're interested in seeing more of in Houston. And by exploring both sides of this issue we hope we learn a little more about our city and how we all move forward.
